Experience and Expertise
Many years of experience teaching Bulgarian as a foreign language.
Our instructor holds a Master's degree in Bulgarian Language and Literature from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and has taught Bulgarian internationally, including to diplomats through Global Affairs Canada.
Her background also includes over 15 years of ESL teaching abroad, giving her a strong understanding of the challenges English-speaking learners face when approaching Bulgarian and the ability to explain its finer points clearly and precisely, from grammar and pronunciation to meaning and usage.
