Director Maple Leaf English School
Our director, Dani Kostadinova – or simply Miss Dani – is the heart behind the inspiring atmosphere at Maple Leaf English School. She holds a Master’s degree in Philology and has extensive international experience and qualifications in teaching English as a Second Language. She is a licensed teacher in Canada, England, and Bulgaria, and also holds a QTS certificate for the United Kingdom.
With almost 25 years of teaching experience, Miss Dani has taught English for 15 years in Canada, as well as several years in British and American schools in Germany, including Business English courses. She has worked with thousands of students aged 3 to 86 from more than 50 nationalities.
She is also a certified educational neuro-therapist with professional practice in Canada, which allows her to more accurately identify the individual language needs of each learner and help them progress in the most effective way.
Teacher Maple Leaf English School
Miss Ilina is a young and inspiring teacher with over 5 years of experience in teaching English as a second language. Her love for teaching began back in high school in Canada, when she worked as a volunteer teacher at a language centre for newcomers under the local school board and also at a Montessori school. During her studies at Queen’s University in Ontario, she also obtained a TESOL qualification for teaching English.
This year, Miss Ilina is completing her degree in Medicine in Varna, and she also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from Queen’s University. In addition to general English and preparation for Cambridge and IELTS exams, she also teaches specialized medical English as well as clinical Bulgarian to international medical students. A native speaker of both English and Bulgarian, Miss Ilina also speaks German and French.
